Naomi Gill

Naomi Gill, 86, of Hinton passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Summers County ARH following a short illness.
Born March 2, 1929 at Hinton, she was the daughter of the late John Jordan and Louisa Delany Gill.
Naomi was a retired nurse's aide from Summers County Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Summers County that enjoyed gardening, her pets, flowers, and spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Boyd Ray Gill; infant son, Raymond Boyd Gill; brothers, James Gill, Dewey Powell Gill, and Estil Gill; sisters, Lucy Breen, Susan Bennett, and Betty Cales; son in law, Teddy Wills; daughter in law, Brenda Gill; and grandson in law, Randall Shelton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Lloyd Gill and wife Helen of Scarbro, Jerry Dennis Gill and wife Cherrie of True, Shirley Stover and husband Tom of Lerona, Kathy Kesner and husband Earl of Hinton, and Libby Gill of Hinton; daughter in law, Deloris Gill of White Oak; brother, Daniel Gill of Tug Creek; special neighbor, Joyce Scott; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Minister Bobby Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the Gill Family Cemetery near Tug Creek. Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral parlors. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
