Nicole Cales

Nicole Cales, 10, of Ramp, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at the CAMC General Division, at Charleston, from injuries received in an automobile accident of January 27, 2007. Born August 13, 1996 at Beckley, she was the daughter of James and Teresa Wood Cales of Ramp. Nicole was a 5th grade student at Hinton Area Elementary School and was a member of the Girl Scout Troop #2152. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Tom Cales and her maternal great grandfather, Kyle Wood. Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, Jesse Cales at home, Maternal Grandparents; Bo and Linda Dick Wood of Ramp, Paternal Grandmother; Mary Grey Cales of Pulaski, VA, and Maternal great grandmother; Geraldine Wood, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton with Lewis Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the Dick Family Cemetery at Ramp. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-9:00 P.M. Thursday.
