Nina Louise Ball, 90, of Talcott passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Summers Nursing and Rehab following a long illness.

Born March 7, 1920 at Sandstone she was a daughter of the late Homer L. and Emsy May Cooper Johnson. A lifelong resident of Summers Co. Mrs. Ball was a homemaker, faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church at Talcott and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Ball Jr.; one daughter, Janie Louise Ball; one grandson, Warren Lewis Ball; two sisters, Marjorie Switzer and Ruby Snyder and one brother, Homer Eugene Johnson.

Survived by two sons, Alfred E. ?Buddy? Ball III and wife Wanda of Talcott and William L. ?Bill? Ball and wife Katherine of Talcott; three granddaughters, Melanie Adkins and husband Bryan of McCoy, VA, Mica Ball of Harrisonburg, VA and Allison Ball of McCoy, VA; one step grandson, Jason Marshall of Amsterdam, NY and one step great grandson, Maxx Marshall of Cleveland, OH.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church at Talcott with Pastors Bob Talbott and Sam Haught officiating. Burial will follow in the Talcott Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors and from noon until service time on Wednesday at the Church.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
