Nina Lee Stanley

 It is with much gratitude for a long and wonderful life, the family of Nina Lee Stanley, 88, of Daniels, WV announces her passing on Sunday, January 5, 2025. 

 Born in Jumping Branch, WV on September 30, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Walter Earl and Ora Marie Pack Lilly. 

 Nina was a 1953 graduate of Hinton High School. Shortly after graduation she married the love of her life, Richard Stanley and thereafter they were seldom seen apart. Nina was a loving mother and a wonderful homemaker with many talents. Her greatest joy was to care for her family. She was a long-standing member of the Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church where she was a choir member and a Sunday School teacher. Nina had a positive influence on many young people. 

 Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Earl Stanley; sister Wilda Meredith; brother Sidney Earl Lilly and an infant brother.

 Those left to cherish her precious memory include her husband of almost seventy years, Richard Ray Stanley; daughters Dixie Terrell (Rick) and Rachella Prince (Bob); four grandsons Thomas Jarrett Terrell (Alicia), Richard Drake Terrell (Rebecca), Tyler Prince (Lindsay), and Scott Prince (Samantha); three great grandchildren Tripp Terrell, Ava Prince and Jackson Prince. 

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church with former pastors Ernest Calfee and Andrew Davis officiating. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery in Nimitz, WV.
