Noah Charles Smith, 80, of Hilldale, formerly of Princeton, died Monday February 9, 2009 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown. Born December 9, 1928 in Summers Co., he was the son of the late Oliver Carl and Della Faye Bower Smith. He was a member of the Johnsonâ??s Chapel Baptist Church while living most of his life in Princeton. He previously worked on the Bluestone Dam for the Dravo Corp. and was a self employed auto mechanic for most of his life. Preceded in death by his former wife Mary Helen Knight Smith and one brother Carl Lee Smith. He is survived by one son, Paul Smith and wife Connie of Lowell; three daughters, Janice Meadows and husband Jerry, Mary Ann Coburn and husband Chuck and Rachel Curry and husband Robbie all of Athens; four brothers, Lewis Smith, George Smith and wife Lula both of TN, Arthur Smith and wife Betty and Bobby Smith and wife Mary both of Princeton; one sister, Anna Belle Lilly of Gap Mills; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Chuck Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time on Friday.
