Ola Mansfield

Ola R. Mansfield, 70, of Nimitz, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2007 at the Harmony House Care Home, following a long illness. Born September 27, 1936 in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Darrell D. and Nellie B. Lilly Cooper. She was a lifelong resident of Summers Co., was a homemaker, a dog lover, enjoyed photography and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Danny R. Mansfield, one brother, John Darrell Cooper and her twin sister, Nola M. Matherly. Survived by one sister, Betty Moye of Nimitz, one brother, Mike Cooper and wife Barbara of Nimitz, several nieces and nephews and Chillipepper, her and her late husbandâ??s faithful companion who is now in the care of family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastors William R. Ballengee and Ernie Junior Moye officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz.Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. on Saturday. Her nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
