Olive Johnson

Olive Lorena Johnson, 92 of Hinton, WV died Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Summers County Continuous Care Center at Hilldale following a short illness. Born April 11, 1913 at Pemberton, WV she was a daughter of the late Flora and Ida Cole Hawley. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was employed as a Deputy of the Summers County Court serving as Matron and Cook at the Summers County Jail for 16 years. Preceeded in death by her husband Ralph Johnson in 1989, one sister Clara Boone, and one brother Kesley Hawley. Survived by three daughters; Margaret Burdette and husband Ferrell, Mary Lou Bolling and husband David, and Sandra Canterbury all of Hinton, one sister; Arnice Merrill of Judson, three grandsons; Tim Bolling, Mike Bolling, and Mark Bolling, one granddaughter; Michelle Burdette, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Ken Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox Cemetery at Brooks, WV. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday June 21, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton
