Othia Keaton

Othia Keaton, 92, of Brevard, NC died at 6:15 A.M. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 in the Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV following a long illness. Born September 30, 1913 in Jackson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Queen Woods and she had lived most of her life in Brevard, NC. Retired from Brevard College where she worked in the Food Service Division and was a member of the Little Cove Baptist Church in Brevard. Survived by three sons, Ellis Morris of Wilson Mills, NC, John C. Morris of Riverside, TX and Leland Morris of Jumping Branch, WV; one daughter, Eva Hall of Brevard, NC; one brother, Talmadge Woods of Brevard, NC; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Friday November 4, 2005 in the Pisgah Memorial Gardens at Brevard, NC with Pastor Tommy Owens officiating. Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton, WV.
