Patricia Sue Cales, 56, of Talcott, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Born September 30, 1955, at Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Robert Brammer and Nancy Cox Brammer of Rixeyville, VA.
Patricia was a homemaker who had lived most of her life in Summers and Monroe County. She was a member of Spruce Run Chapel at Forest Hill. She enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 36 years, James R. Cales; two daughters, Melissa Sue McGlothlin and husband Jonathan of Vinton, VA and Lisa Cales of Talcott; one son, J. R. "Jay" Cales and wife Kim of Talcott; four grandchildren, Kathryn and Nancy McGlothlin of Vinton, VA and Rachel and Lillian Cales of Talcott; one sister, Connie Furr and husband Roy of Amissiville, VA; eight brothers, Timmy Brammer and wife Lisa of Orange, VA, J.W. Brammer and wife Kim of Manassas Park, VA, David and Richard Brammer of Rixeyville, VA, Joe, Frankie and Tommy Brammer of Manassas, VA and Johnny Brammer of Culpepper, VA and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Spruce Run Chapel at Forest Hill with Pastor Orville Meadows and Rev. Lee Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Cales Cemetery at Clayton. Friends may call at the church from 11:00AM until time of services.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
