Patricia Jean Booth Welch, 60, of Princeton, formerly of Daniels, went to be home with the Lord, Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Born December 19, 1952 at Meadow Creek, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Richmond and Louisa Lee Smith Richmond.
Patricia worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed NASCAR and football. She also enjoyed listening to bluegrass and gospel music. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Junior Booth, and one son, Eddie Ray Booth.
She is survived by her husband, David Welch; two sons, Glynn Booth and wife Melissa of Cross Lanes, and David Lee Booth of Florida; one daughter, Brenda Lee Cochran and husband Jeffrey of Princeton; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Roland Stone and wife Barbara of Cool Ridge, Oliver Stone and wife Barbara of Lockbridge, Charles T. Richmond Jr. and wife Teresa of Daniels; three sisters, Jane Hylton of Oak Hill, Shirley Morton and husband Paul of Grandview, Sara Cox and husband Melvin of Beaver. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Rick Henderson and Marvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
