Patsy J. ?Pat? Hicks Chatterton, 69, of Forest Hill went to be with her Lord Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at the Springfield Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born Feb. 24, 1942 at Low Gap she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Virginia Ruth Williams Hicks
Pat was a member of the Hinton Gospel Tabernacle and attended as long as her health permitted. She had worked in many states as a waitress and also refinished furniture. She enjoyed reading and spending her time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Danita Dawn Hicks and one brother, David Ray Hicks.
Pat is survived by one daughter, Tamara McKinney and husband David of Ballengee; two grandchildren, Rebecka and Elijah McKinney both of Ballengee; one stepson, Billy Chatterton and wife Jill of York, PA; two step grandchildren, Lindsey and Dylan Chatterton both of York, PA; two brothers, Claude Hicks and wife Sylvia of Union, SC and Rodger Hicks and wife Linda of Indian Mills; one sister, Janice Hicks Schearer of Forest Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Terry Weatherly officiating. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 5:00 PM until time of services Wednesday.
