Patsy Ann Gray Massey Keaton, 66, of Tug Creek, Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness.
Born June 6, 1947 at Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Willard G. and Alice F. Bowles Gray.
Patsy was a 1965 Hinton High School graduate and a former driver for the Hinton Taxi Company. She loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith.
Patsy was a lifelong resident of Summers County who loved her family dearly. She was always friendly to others and willing to help in any way she could.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by first husband, Steve Massey; second husband, Dewey Keaton and one nephew, Christopher Gray.
Those left to cherish her memory include four children, Mike Massey and wife Patty of Front Royal , VA, Prescilla Blankenship of Tug Creek, Roger Massey of Tug Creek, Becky Weiss and husband Jimmy of Nimitz; five grandchildren, Michael Massey, Heather Graham, Joshua Miller, Cory Miller, Roger Massey; one great granddaughter, Jasmine Monroe; one sister, Mary Cales of Pembroke, VA; two brothers, Jimmy Gray of Tug Creek and Curtis Gray and wife Dottie of Hinton. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox Cemetery at Brooks. Friends may call from 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
