Patsy M. Furrow Knight, 72, of Sarton Mountain, WV formerly of Spotsylvania, VA passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Born April 22, 1938 at Sophia, WV she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Elsie Alderman Furrow. Patsy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at Hinton and was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney I. Knight Sr.; son, Alvin Lewis Knight; grandson, Grant Joseph King and two brothers, Virgil and Ronald Furrow.
Survived by seven children, Sidney I. Knight Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA, Joseph Lynn Knight, Thomas Wayne Knight and Teresa Lynn Knight all of Sarton Mountain, Della Mae Knight of Baltimore, MD, Carla Sue Easterling and Randy Knight both of Hope, AR; one daughter-in-law whom she thought of as a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Knight; fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four brothers, Walter Furrow of Greenville, Lucky Furrow of Ballard, Rocky Furrow of Bowling Green, VA and Roger Furrow of Fredericksburg, VA and two sisters, Ava Jewel Boczar of Staunton, VA and Cheryl Jean Furrow Freeman Roberts of Fredericksburg, VA.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. October 23, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel.
