Patty Vest, 70, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital, following a long illness.
Born June 10, 1940 in Raleigh Co. she was a daughter of the late Fratie and Mildred Miller Harris.
Patty was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker having lived most of her life in Summers Co. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and attending church while her health permitted.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lisa Ayers of Hinton; two granddaughters, Crystal Ayers of Hinton and Tammy Gaylor and husband Nathan of Jumping Branch; one great granddaughter, Savannah McCoy of Hinton; one step son, Anthony Vest of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Cecil Harris and three sisters, May Harris, Dixie Harris and Kitty Harris.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Vest Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may call from noon until time of service on Tuesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
