Paula Blackburn

Paula Jean Cales Blackburn, 42, of Ramp entered into the arms of Jesus; Wednesday, May 27, 2009 following injuries received in an automobile accident. Born April 5, 1967 at Sandusky, OH she was a daughter of Herman and Jeanie Hall Cales of Ramp. A lifelong resident of Summers County she attended the Mabscott Holiness Church. Paula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchild. Enjoyed being in the outdoors and she was loved by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Basil and Ethel Cales and her maternal grandparents, Dennie and Louise Hall. Besides her parents she is survived by her husband, Billy Blackburn of Hix Mt.; three sons, Stevie, Joey and Joshua Gill all of Ramp; one grandson, Cody Gill of Hinton; one daughter in law, Amanda Gill of Hinton; three brothers, Scott Cales and wife Angie of Hickory, NC, Kris Cales and wife Leslie of Ramp and Timmy Cales and wife Bambi of Peterstown and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Ramp Holiness Church with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Dick Cemetery at Ramp. Friends may call at the Ramp Holiness Church one hour prior to service time on Saturday. Her sons and brothers will serve as pallbearers.
