Pauline F. Ward, 74, of Hilldale, formerly of Hinton, died at 5:25 A.M. Saturday June 3, 2006 at the Summers Nursing and Rehab Center, following a long illness. Born September 13, 1931 at Chestnut Mountain in Summers County, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle Richmond Taylor. Lifelong resident of Summers County, member of the Community Christian Church, now the First Christian Church of Hinton and a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Ward; three sons, Russell Dean, Albert Wayne and Ronald E. Ward. Survived by two sons, Adolphus Gene Ward and companion Barbara Ward of Hinton and Richard Dale â??Buddyâ?? Ward and wife Goldie of Upland; two daughters-in-law, Deborah Ward of Hinton and Janet Cales and husband Jackie of Ramp; one brother, C.M. â??Fritzâ?? Ward of Richmond, VA; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Gary Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral parlors. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
