Pearl Bragg

Pearl Mildred Bragg, 90, of Hinton, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Bowerâ??s Hospice House at Beckley following a long illness. Born June 26, 1916 at Odd, WV she was a daughter of the late Dayton and Mildred Plumley Massie. She attended the First Baptist Church in Hinton and was an avid crotchetier and seamstress. She was preceded in death by four infant children, two brothers Opie and Vernon Massie and five sisters, Ferne and Thelma Massie, Elsie Hoke, Wilsie Grimmett and Delma Grimmett. Survived by three sisters, Gladys Gill of Bluefield, Edna Rennie of Erie, PA and Wanda Williams of Hilldale and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 2 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Harry Pilkington officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from noon until time of services Saturday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
