Peggy Lou Carr, 66, of Hilldale passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness.
Born, February, 22, 1947 at Clear Creek in Raleigh County she was a daughter of the late Donnie and Mary Fraley Collins.
Peggy was retired as an LPN from Riverview Nursing Home at Rich Creek, VA. She was a 1964 graduate of Forest Hill High School and a member of the Freedom Baptist Church on Powleys Creek.
Besides her parents Peggy is preceded in death by one son, Darrell Lee Carr; two brothers, David and Glen Collins and one sister, Janet Collins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years, Darrell Carr; two daughters, Lisa McBride and husband Timothy of Pipestem and JoAnn McGraw of Bland, VA; seven grandchildren, Andy, Ashley, Cory and wife Arlisha, Heather, Shelley, Megan and Derick; three great grandchildren, Michael, Mathew and Makailey and two sisters, Linda and Joyce.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
