Peggy Lee Williams Harper, 88, of Nimitz passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House.
Born December 19, 1928 in Greenbrier County she was a daughter of the late Jacob Todd and Mary Emma Hefner Williams.
Peggy was a member of Sandknob United Methodist Church. She had worked at G.C. Murphy Company and Cabot Gas. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Robert Harper; sisters, Marie Fulwider and Mary Anna Williams and brothers, James Todd Williams, Russell Williams and Shurley Williams.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Harper-McCombs and husband Kevin of Carlisle, PA; one granddaughter, Demma Lee Harper-McCombs; one grandson, Jules Robert Harper-McCombs; two sisters, Juanita Thorne of Slainsville, WV and Nancy Johnson Thorne of Hinton; one brother, Ray Williams and wife Becky of North Carolina and her caregiver and friend, Connie Martin of Hilldale.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Penny Blevins and Pastor Patricia Worles officiating. Burial will follow in the Harper Family Cemetery at Sandknob. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral parlor.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern WV.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
