Peggy J. Miller, 74, of Zion Mt., Hinton entered into eternal rest Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home following a long illness.
Born May 2, 1938 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Dewey W. and Pauline Bennett Miller.
Peggy was a former operator for C&P Telephone Company in Hinton and Beckley retiring in 1990 from AT&T in Charleston. Following retirement she worked as an office assistant for Dr. M.I. Dababnah and enjoyed vacations at the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by one brother, Stephen ?Cookie? Miller; one sister Betty Weikle and one brother in law, Lee Bennett.
Survived by two brothers, Tommy Miller and wife Betty of Zion Mt., David ?Peanut? Miller and wife Janie of Hinton; three sisters, Sue Ward and husband Jimmie of Pipestem, Nancy O?Neal and husband Eddie of Meadow Bridge, Brenda Bennett Chester and husband Rick of Lerona; one brother in law, Paul Weikle of Union ; a special friend, Ken Butler of Charleston and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with her brother in law, Pastor Rick Chester officiating. Entombment will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
