Pete Weikle

Pete Weikle, 85, of Judson went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at his home with his loving family surrounding him.

Born October 27, 1939 at Union he was a son of the late Hobert Ward and Sally Taylor Weikle.

Pete was a former member and Assistant Fire Chief of Greenbrier Valley Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years. He was a construction worker who loved his dogs and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Grace Lusk Weikle; one daughter, Pameila Adkins; six brothers, John, Charlie, Alfred, Robert, Ronald and Eldridge Weikle and two sisters, Lilly Ward and Nancy Kellum.

Those left to cherish his memory include his five children, Darrin Weikle, Alice Frances Carter and husband Roger, David Weikle, James Weikle and fiancé Stacey Conrad and Donna Adkins and husband Richard; four grandchildren, Jessica, Taisha, David Jr. and Jonathan; four great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; one brother, Paul Weikle and one sister, Mabel Bennett.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, March 24, 2025 at Elk Knob Baptist Church with Pastors John Boothe and Andy Howdock officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the funeral parlors and one hour prior to services at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Weikle, Bo Weikle, Roger Carter.
