Ralph Ballengee

Ralph Emory Ballengee, 69 of Sandstone went home to be with the Lord, March 13, 2007 at the home of Grayson and Barbara Brinegar his family and caregivers following a short illness. Born September 24, 1937 in Ohio he was the son of the late Jim and Hattie Sears Ballengee and he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and several nieces and nephews. Ralph is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Patricia Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the Brinegar cemetery at Shockley Hill. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral parlors. Allen and Doug Sears, Jerry Fox, Eddie, Leonard and Lewis Cales, and Basil Bowles will serve as pallbearers.
