Ralph â??Tommyâ?? Harrah, 49, of Madams Creek, Hinton died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at his home. Born February 14, 1959 at Summers Co., he was the son of Virginia Bennett Harrah of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton and the late Ralph Thomas Harrah. Tommy was a member of the Church of the Living God, he was a lifelong resident of Summers Co., a former Trackman for the C&O Railroad, and carpenter for the Teays River Construction Co. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working on cars and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Abraham and Goldie Bennett and his paternal grandparents; W.H. and Mary Harrah. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Valerie Harrah at Home, four children, Amy Harrah of Marion, IN; Tommy Joe Harrah and wife Devan of Big Creek, Megan Bussey and Husband Jay of Newark, OH and Joseph â??Joeyâ?? Harrah at home, one granddaughter; Alivia Voland of Marion, IN, three sisters; Mary Ann Crawford, Sharon Dodd and Companion Dennis Robinett and Loretta Richmond and husband Melvin all of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton, one brother, Eddie Ray Harrah of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton, his father-in-law, Bill Meadows of Plainsville, CT, his mother-in-law, Janet Meadows of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton, one brother-in-law Vincent Meadows and wife Brenda of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating. Burial will follow in the Breen Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Monday. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
