Ralph Junior Ward, age 77, of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Born on March 16, 1934, in Hinton, WV, he was the son of the late Friend and Rena Jones Ward.
Mr. Ward retired from Curtis Paper Mill, Newark, DE, where he was a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his sons, Ronald ?Rocky? Ward and Charles ?Charlie? Ward.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Carte Ward; children, Deborah Griggs and husband, Joe of Vanceboro, NC, Timothy Ward, Linda Ward, Retha Ward, and Teresa Seyler and husband, Brian, all of Elkton, MD; one brother, Albert Ward of Hinton, WV; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ray ?Buck? Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Friend Ward Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral parlor. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
