Rebecca Adkins

Rebecca June Adkins, 61, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center following a long illness. Born August 14, 1952 at Illinois she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Hilda June Messer Hill.
Rebecca was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. She was a former aide at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who enjoyed watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Elmore Adkins of Hinton; one son, Steven Benjamin Adkins of Lewisburg; one daughter, Jennifer Hill of Beckley; two grandchildren, Caden and Michai; one sister, Benita Hill of NC and a special friend, Sue Bennett of Freezeland Mtn.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors with Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery at Freezeland Mtn. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
