Rebecca “Becky” Carol Keaton Wilson, 62, of Daniels went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday March 25, 2025 at the Peyton Hospice House following a short illness.
Born September 13, 1962 at Beckley she was a daughter of the late Daniel T. “Danny” and Margaret S. “Peggy” Lilly Keaton. Becky was a graduate of Hinton High School class of 1980 and the Raleigh County School of Practical Nursing where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. She later attended Bluefield State College School of Nursing where she received her degree in Registered Nursing. She provided geriatric care for many people and worked at various hospitals as a floor nurse. Becky had a great love for her horses and a special love for all her nieces and nephews.
Those left to cherish her memory include three brothers, Billy J. Keaton (Tonya), Mark S. Keaton (Kayo), and Phillip R. “P.K.” Keaton (Rhonda); special nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, Jennifer Ickes (Wayne), Jacob Keaton, Kathryn “Katie” Keaton, Alexis Mejak (Justin), Zachary Tincher (Caroline), Allison Keaton, Michael Guilliams (Hannah), Karsyn Keaton, Bryson Keaton, Payton Ickes, Ezra Ickes, Adalyn Ickes, Elena Mejak, and Brooks Guilliams; and her special friends, Shari Thompson, Sue Crook and Pam Murry.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 pm Friday March 28, 2025 at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery from 12:30 until the time of services.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank the staff of Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital and Peyton Hospice House for the wonderful care given to Becky.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Peyton Hospice House.
