Rebecca Gill

Rebecca Ann Gill, 49, of Hinton passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Plateau Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Born April 5, 1972 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Charles Gill and Judy Adkins Gill.

Rebecca was a registered nurse at Fayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a Jehovah’s Witness. Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She loved cooking, fishing, farming and vacations to VA beach.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Yassir Atik; two sons, Ronald Sears Jr. and companion Nikki Lacy and Brandon Sears, all of Hinton; three grandchildren, Keely Sears, Hayden Sears and Trenton Sears; two step grandchildren, McKinley Gross and Ryker Gross; three brothers, Matthew Gill, Christopher Gill, Charlie Gill; one sister, Nikki Gill; special friend, Savannah Sears and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

At Rebecca’s request the body has been cremated and a gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel.
