On this day September 14, 2011, Regina K. Ward-Richmond went home to be with the Lord. She passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division after a short illness. Regina was born on August 3, 1975 in Summers County.
She was a daughter of the late Charles E. Ward.
Besides her mother, Lois Jean Ward of Barger Springs, she is survived by her husband, Larry David Richmond of Ballengee; a sister, Sarina Fischer and husband Tom of Barger Springs; two brothers, Ronald Ward of Wayside and Nicholas Ward and wife Liza of Veedersburg, Indiana.
She was also survived by her father and mother in law; James and Mildred Richmond of Ballengee; two brothers in law, Greg Richmond and Lewis Richmond and wife Cathy; one sister in law, Susan Steitz and husband David; a step son, Justin Richmond and wife Heather; six special nieces, Brittanie and Tearsia Fischer, Justice Ward, Tara Stanley, Danielle and Kristen Richmond; one special nephew, Nicholas Ward and two special step grandchildren, Lakin and Gabe Richmond.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
