Ricky Robert Pack, 57, of Nimitz passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Charleston Area Medical Center following a long illness.
Born June 22, 1961 in Heidleberg, Germany he was a son of Andrea Pack of Nimitz and the late Walter H. Pack Sr.
Ricky was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a drummer for several bands. He dearly loved his family, children and grandchildren.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Winnie and Jamie Lee Lilly Pack; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Sophie Stawski and one brother Robert Joseph "Bobby" Pack.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Martha Leona Williams Pack at home; one son, Wesley Charles Pack and companion Lyndsi of Beckley; two daughters, Amanda Arlene Gillaspie and husband Paul of Beckley and Sarah Emily Pack at home; grandson, Lathen Edward Gillaspie; granddaughter, Raelynn Renee Gillaspie; one step son, Johnny Collins; one step daughter, Melissa Collins and fiance Garon Gray of Mossy, WV; one brother, Walter H. Pack Jr. and wife Betty Pettry Pack of Nimitz; two nephews, Joseph Andrew Pack and wife Katie of Nimitz and Bradley Alexander Pack and wife Maria of Bakersfield, CA; one niece, Ella Sophia Pack of Nimitz and one sister in law Kathleen K. Lilly Pack of Jumping Branch.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Ballengee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Viewing for friends and family will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at the church on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Paul Gillaspie, Wesley Pack, Garon Gray, Joseph Pack, Walter Pack Jr., Alan Lilly, Keith Adkins and Jacob Williams.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
