Robert Gill

Robert â??Boâ?? Gill, 72, of Hilldale, died Saturday morning November 12, 2005 at his home following a long illness. Born December 25, 1932 at Talcott, he was a son of the late Nathaniel W. and Sudie Belle Craycraft Gill. A lifelong resident of Summers Co, a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. a retired signal maintainer after 23 years of service with CSX, and a member of the Willow Wood Country Club. Preceded in death by one grandson, Anthony Adkins and one sister, Shelby Jean Bailey. Survived by wife of 50 years, Margaret Raines Gill; one son, Frankie Adkins and his wife Kim of Hilldale; three daughters, Karen Sue Adkins of Madamâ??s Creek, Linda Kay Bennett of Hilldale and Brenda Gay Bragg and her husband Jerry of Hinton; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Gill and his wife Nancy of Flat Top and Danny Gill and his wife Rikki of Talcott; three sisters, Ruth Farley and her husband Eugene of Grafton, OH, Thelma Graham of Hilldale and Mary Edith Davis and her husband Jack of Princeton. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 16, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Tuesday at the Funeral Parlors.
