Robert R. "Robbie" Hudson III, 28, of Princeton, formerly of True, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 9, 2011 at his home.
Born February 14, 1983, at Raleigh County, he was a son of Robert R. "Bob" Hudson Jr. and Susie Hudson, both of True.
Robbie was a 2001 graduate of Pikeview High School who worked as an equipment operator for WV Department of Highways in Mercer County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, timbering, working on automobiles and helping his neighbors and friends. He had a great sense of humor, was high spirited and very caring of others.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert R. Hudson Sr.; maternal grandfather, Willis M. Ward; great grandparents, Nathan and Ella Tickle and Joe and Fannie Tewell and great great grandparents, Robert and Estel Hudson and Matthew and Felicia Ward.
Besides his parents those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, MaKayla Reann Hudson of Bluefield; one sister, Keri LeAnn Hudson of True; paternal grandmother, Joyce Ann Hudson of True; maternal grandmother, Sarah Alice Ward of True and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 12:00PM Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Spangler Cemetery at True. Friends may call from 6-9:00PM Monday at the funeral parlors.
Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Fields, Justin Warren, Adam Kinzer, Frankie Nowlin, J.O. Phillips and Poohy Phillips.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Center and the Alzheimer's Foundation.
