Robert Wynes

Robert Langford â??Langâ?? Wynes, 54, of Talcott, died at 1:40 A.M. Thursday February 22, 2007, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Fairlea, following a long illness. Born October 10, 1952 at Lowell, he was the son of Patricia A. Chapman Wynes of Lowell and the late William Lee Wynes Sr. â??Langâ?? was a 1972 graduate of Talcott High School, he was a disabled construction worker for Vecillio and Grogan of Beckley, had worked as a Chef and was a member of the Second Baptist Church at Talcott. Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving companion of many years, Mary Meadows; a special â??grandsonâ?? whom he reared, Corey Meadows of Talcott; one daughter, Sandra Sea of Florence, SC; one son Jason Sea of Huntington, WV; five brothers, Timothy Wynes and wife Elizabeth of Pence Springs, Gregory Wynes of Christiansburg, VA, Jerry Wynes of Temple Hills, MD, William Wynes Jr. of Pence Springs, WV and Garland Todd Wynes and Wife Angie of High Point, NC; ten sisters, Carmen Wynes of Huntington, WV, Devohnna â??Lynnâ?? Wynes of Lewisburg, WV, Almeta â??Tabbyâ?? Mickens and husband Erick of Lowell, WV, Lisa Williams of Alderson, WV, Brenda Bradley of Huntsville, AL, Terri Johnson and husband Rick of Lowell, WV, Judith Sweeney and husband Freddy of Hinton, WV, Mary Wynes of Grovetown, GA, Lynda Lancaster and husband Clifford of Temple Hills, MD and Jeannie Wolfolk of Roanoke, VA and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. At his request, his body has been cremated. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
