Roger Dolan Wilson Sr., 54, of Shady Spring, WV died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at his home. Born November 2, 1952 at Hazy, WV, he was the son of Rev. Delpha Jeffries Lusk and her husband W.W. Lusk of Shady Spring, WV and Don Wilson and his wife Roxie of Lexington, NC. Roger was an automobile mechanic. Preceded in death by; his Maternal Grandparents Okey and Goldie Jeffries; his Paternal Grandparents Okey and Maude Wilson Handford; one son, Roger (Rocky) Wilson, Jr.; two sisters, Sharon Alice Wilson and Mary Wilson Chambers; one brother, Michael Wilson and one step-brother, James Lusk. Besides his parents, he is survived by three daughters, Shelia Mae McGonagle of Charleston, Amanda Davis of Maple Fork and Ashley Davis of Mt. Hope; one stepdaughter, Anna Mae Buckner of Mt. Hope; one stepson, Brendan Davis of Fayetteville; two brothers, Roger Lusk and wife Melissa of Shady Spring and George Wilson and wife Sandy of Lexington, NC; two sisters, Sandy Swift and husband Jim of Beckley and Kimberly McElroy of Virginia Beach, VA; two step-brothers, David Ray Lusk of Montana and Daniel Lusk and wife Debbie of Ohio; two step-sisters, Margaret Mizer and husband Rev. Paul of Michigan and Mildred Jean Mills of Baileysville; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; special aunts, Velma Avery, Gatha Rhodes and uncle William Jeffries; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a special friend, Barbara Meadows. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday September 1, 2007 at the Shady Spring Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday.
