Ronald J. "Fat Boy" Bennett

     Ronald J. “Fat Boy” Bennett, 59, of Sinks Grove entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the New River Valley Hospital in Christiansburg, VA.

     Born January 19, 1964 in OH he was a son of the late Andrew I. and Freda Fox Bennett.

     Ronnie was a truck driver and construction worker.  He was of the Baptist Faith. Ronnie enjoyed Harley Davidsons, hunting, fishing, flea markets and spending time with family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Bennett; one sister, Debbie Bennett and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Beth Lilly; one brother, Mike Bennett; one sister, Jeanette Ruth Flowers and Timmy Wheeler; special uncle, Donald Bennett; brother of heart, Gary Farmer and wife Datsi; step children, Justin and wife Amanda, Jody and wife Becky, Edna and husband Adam, Thomas, Braeden, Laurel, Robin, Lyriel and Lyndie; grandchildren, Caleb, Lakelyn “Jake”, Carsen, Jessi, Laikon, Makayla; nieces, LeeAnn Kelso and Michelle Flowers; several great nieces and nephews; former wife and friend, Decretia Cales and numerous family members whom he loved dearly.

     A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. Following Ronnie’s request please feel free to wear casual attire. Following the visitation his body will be cremated.
