Ronald Smith

Ronald V. Smith, 66, of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Born November 13, 1953 at Hinton he was a son of the late Verland and Doris Pauline “Polly” Bennett Smith.

Ronald was a former construction roofer. He was a member of Meadow Creek Baptist Church. Ronald enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and yardwork.

Those left to cherish his memory include four sisters, Wanda Phillips and husband Everette, Margaret Ward and husband Roy, Josephine “Josie” Combs and Barbara Ward and Dale; two children, Robin Nichols and husband Jon and Carl Smith; three grandchildren, Kayley, Kaysey and Jonathan Nichols and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, February 24, 2020 at Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton with Pastor Jackie Ward officiating. Friends wishing to attend the visitation are asked to meet at the funeral parlor from 11:00 A.M. until time of departure to the cemetery.
