Ronald Taylor

Ronald Ray Taylor, Sr., 65, of Pipestem, died at 12:53 P.M. Sunday June 2, 2008, following an apparent heart attack. Born November 19, 1942 at Hinton, he was the son of the late Bill and Jean Crittle Taylor. Ronnie was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at Pipestem State Park, retiring after 32 years of service. Survived by his wife, Sue Carte Taylor, three daughters; Regina Richardson and husband Robert of Alderson, Cindy Adkins and husband Tim of Hinton, and Sarah Helton and husband Mike of Roanoke, VA, one son; Ronald R. â??Ronnieâ?? Taylor Jr. of Hinton, one stepson, John Christopher Petrey of Newport News, VA, two brothers; James W. Taylor and wife Betty of Streeter and John S. Taylor and wife Jean of Hinton, one sister; Sally Golfman and husband Randy of Falmouth, KY, ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In keeping with Ronnieâ??s request, his body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Dallas Peyton officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday
