Ronald Ward

Ronald O. “Ronnie” Ward, 65 of Hinton passed away Tuesday July 20, 2021 at his home.  Born November 26, 1955 at Hinton he was the son of the late Carlos Fred and Vina Jane Hammonds Ward.

Ronnie was a graduate of Hinton High School and served his country in the United States Army.  He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and was an avid fan of Nascar.

Survived by two sons, Ronnie and Randy Ward of VA;  two brothers, Carlos Freddie Ward Jr. and wife Debbie of Peterstown and Mark Anthony Ward of Hinton; three sisters, Beverly Chewning, Joyce and the late Bobby Lilly of Hinton and Roda “Robin” Ward and fiancé Mike Hostutler of Roanoke, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Friday July 23, 2021 at the Church of God of Prophecy at 3827 Bozoo Road Peterstown, WV 24963 with Pastor Freddie Ward officiating.
