Roni Leigh Sheppard

     Roni Leigh Sheppard, 35, of Alderson passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at home following a long illness.

     Born June 28, 1988 at Radford, VA she was a daughter of Ruth Blevins Cassedy of Alderson and the late Ronald F. Sheppard.

     Roni was previously an insurance agent and assistant manager at Stuart’s Smokehouse and Seafood.

     She enjoyed the river, kayaking, swimming and spending time with her family and her children.

     Besides her father she was preceded in death by one sister, Amanda Niccole Tincher.

     Beside her mother, those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Lillian Belle Whitt; one son, Braxtyan Walker Smith; one sister Bettye Jeane Phillips; one brother, Jason Harold Tincher and wife Michelle and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

     Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Blevins Family Cemetery at Clayton with Pastor William LeGrand officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery from 10:30 A.M. until time of services.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
