On Saturday, September 17, 2011, our dear mother, sister, and aunt, Roseanna Cole Lowe, 59, of Beaver, WV passed away at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
Born March 10, 1952 at Beckley, WV, she was the youngest of seven children born to the late Oakley and Ollie Bolen Cole.
Roseanna was a homemaker and caretaker of her two handicapped sons. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lowe; a son Charles David Lowe; a sister, Joyce Ann Lowe; an infant brother, J.K. Cole; her grandparents, John Kelly and Jeanettie McKinney Cole and Joe and Elizabeth Garretson Bolen.
Surviving her is her son, Oakley Ray Lowe of the home; a brother, Roy David Cole and his wife Mary of Odd, WV; three sisters, Peggy Powell of Pittsburg, PA, Virginia Nary and her husband John of Beckley, WV, and Jeanette Hatcher of Beaver, WV, and her beloved pet Precious.
Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Roger Brammer officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11AM until time of service.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Brian Cole, Scott Cole, Jerry Conner, William Adkins, Donald Powell and Dean Hatcher.
