Roy Jason Webb, 74, of Ballengee went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a short illness.
Born February 14, 1937 at Ballengee he was the son of the late Lester Guy and Emma Jane Hodge Webb. He attended War Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, loved riding his lawn mower from place to place to visit with all of his friends, an avid gardener he enjoyed fishing and spending time with children.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer "Pete" and Jesse F. Webb and five sisters, Ruby Webb, Linda Webb, Nancy Richardson, Relda Vest and Bernice McCall.
Survived by two brothers, James Webb and wife Ginger of Cassanova, VA and Thomas C. Webb and wife Shirley of Barger Springs; his caregiver, Betty Richmond and husband Roger of Ballengee and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nephews and special friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Wesley Galiford and Rev. Roger Brammer officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
