Ruby Ann Fix, 77, of Salem,VA, formerly of Summers Co. died 12:40 AM, Monday, December 17, 2007 at Lewis Gale Medical Center at Salem, VA following a long illness. Born February 18, 1930 at Madams Creek, Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Leah Deeds Dennis. Former employee of the G.C. Murphy Co. in Hinton; member of the First Weslyan Church on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, VA. She sang in the Dennis Trio for the Harry R. Peyton Ministry and a graduate of Beckley College. Preceded in death by one brother Jack Dennis and one sister Louise Dennis. Survived by her husband Dennis R. Fix Sr. of Salem, VA; one son Dennis R. Fix Jr. of Salem, VA; and one sister- in- law Marguerite Dennis of Salem, VA. Funeral services will be Thursday 2:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Benny Peyton, Lawrence Bennett and Elmo Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor from 6-8 PM Wednesday.
