Ruby Bowles

Ruby Marie Bowles, 85, of Hinton, died Saturday, October 29, 2005, at the Summers Co. Continuous Care Center at Hilldale following a long illness. Born May 14, 1920 at Judson, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Mary Estella Skaggs Williams. Mrs. Bowles had lived most of her life in Summers Co. She had lived several years in Cleveland, OH where she was a retired cook at the Jones Nursing Home. Preceded in death by her husband, Omer E. Bowles, three sons; Arnold, Marion, and James Bowles, two daughters; Charlotte and Diane Cales, one great grandson, Ronnie Dean Cales, nine brothers and two sisters. Survived by two sons; Darrell Bowles of Ballard and Kennard Bowles of Masidonia,OH, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Travis Hocum officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery at Tempa. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time on Tuesday. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
