Ruby Dunbar

Ruby Lucille Dunbar, 82, of Clarksville TN, formerly of Alderson, WV, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at Gateway Medical Center. Ruby was born Oct. 5, 1923 in Creamery WV. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mamie Walkup Erskine. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas Joe Dunbar. She was a member of the Keller Presbyterian Church at Lowell and of the Senior Citizens Center in Clarksville. She is survived by two sons; John Dunbar of Silver Springs, FL and Luther Wayne Dunbar of Southside, TN, two daughters; Judith A. Gilray of Clarksville, TN. and Teresa Wilson of Cunningham, TN, three sisters; Ruth Smith of Union, WV, Gladys Sternaman of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Mary Sears of Alderson, WV, sixteen grandchildren; Robert S. Gilray Jr. Michael S. Gilray, Matthew S. Gilray, Judith â??Candiâ?? E. Dunbar, John Dunbar Jr., Amanda Dunbar, Thomas Joe Dunbar Jr., Michelle Powers, Joey Dunbar, Daniel Dunbar, Gary Medina, Shannon Medina, Samantha Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Stacy Dunbar and Misty Dunbar, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Keller Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Lowell. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor in Hinton. Larry Harris and her grandsons will service as pallbearers.
