Ruby Gill

Ruby Ann Plumley Gill, 54, of Hinton, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at Fairlea, following a long illness. Born November 11, 1953 at Camp Branch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Richard Plumley and Virginia Bennett Plumley Richmond. Ruby was employed as a nurse aide for many years at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital at Hinton, and later at Summers Nursing and Rehab Center at Hilldale. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Van Gill and one brother, Richard Plumley. Survived by one son; Billy Dunn of Hinton, two sisters; Melissa Richmond and Susie Ward both of Hinton, her step parents; Paul and Kathleen Richmond of Daniels, WV, two special nephews; Kevin Ward and Fiancee Carolyn and Steven Ward and wife Natalia, a special great nephew; Demitri Ward and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Harry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from noon until funeral time on Saturday.
