Ruby Riffe

Ruby I. Riffe, 89, of Talcott, formerly of Madison, died at 4:55 P.M. Saturday at the Summers County Continuous Care Center at Hilldale, following a long illness.Born August 17, 1915 at Ballengee, she was a daughter of the late Lomar and Allie Lyons Davis.Mrs. Riffe had been a resident of Talcott since 1993. She had lived most of her life at Madison, WV. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Ballengee.Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Riffe in 1995, two sons, Charles Willard and Joe Riffe, one brother, Verdo Davis, and two sisters, Winnie McMillion and Lena Clara Hendricks.Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Louise Tabor and husband Warren of Talcott, one brother, Elmo Davis of Talcott, four grandsons; Dennis, Eric, Jeff and Joe and four great-granddaughters; Sarah, Ashley, Holley and Hannah.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Sam Haught officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers
