Rufina Bragg

Margaret Smith Bragg, 83, of Meadow Creek died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness. Born April 24, 1924 at Meadow Creek she was the daughter of the late Arthur Jackson and Rufina Myrtle Plumley Smith and she had lived her entire life at Meadow Creek. Margaret worked at Summers County Hospital as a nurse aide till she retired, and was a member of the Meadow Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Bragg; three brothers, Clyde A., Theo and Roy Smith; and one sister, Anna Mae Cales. Survived by one son, Robert â??Bobâ?? Smith and wife Linda of Manassas, VA; one grandson, Greg Smith of Manassas, VA; one brother, Forrest G. Smith of Meadow Creek; two sisters, Imogene Gwinn and husband Jack of Meadow Bridge and Mary Ellen Richmond of Grandview; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Carol Kelly of Meadow Creek. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor William Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Greg Smith, Eugene Holland, Eugene Jones, Richard and Gary Twohig, and Chuck and Robbie Richmond will serve as pallbearers.
