Sally Adkins

Sally Faye Adkins, 47, of 1202 Greenbrier Dr., Hinton, died Monday afternoon, October 9, 2006. Born October 10, 1958 at Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Billy Joe and Virginia Helen Ayers Smith Sr. Sally attended the Brooks Baptist Church. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant who dedicated her life to helping others. She was a devoted wife, mother and sister. Preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ann Smith. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 31 years, James Reo Adkins and her daughter, Julie Marie Adkins both at home; two sisters, Jo Ann Smith of Forest Hill, and Sandra Kay Anderson and husband Blaine of Elk Knob; two brothers, Ernest â??Chrisâ?? Smith and wife Roseanne of Hinton and Billy Joe Smith Jr. of Hinton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery on Freezeland Mt. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. on Thursday.
