Sam Dodd, 63, of Alderson died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at CAMC Memorial Division following a long illness.
Born February 25, 1948 at Hinton he was the son of the late Robert Luther and Minnie Maxine Cales Dodd. Sam worked for many years as a printer until his retirement when he then moved back to WV where he loved spending time with his friends and family but especially with his youngest son Devin.
Preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph Thomas Dodd and one brother, Warren Dodd.
Survived by four children, Paul Dodd of Chicago, IL, Sandra Guadalupe of Chicago, IL, Sammy Joe Dodd of Newbern, NC and Devin Dodd of Alderson and eight grandchildren.
At his request he has been cremated and there will be no services.
