Sarah Ballengee

Sarah Frances Ballengee, 88 of Beckley went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 23, 2020 at Pine Lodge Center in Beckley following a long illness.

Born November 18, 1932 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Charlie O. and Anna Marie Adkins Allen.

Sarah was a member of the Glen White Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed scrapbooking and working with pictures.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ballengee Sr.; son, Jack W. Ballengee Jr; daughter, Barbara June Smith; two brothers, Edgar Lee and Norman Dean Allen and three sisters, Juanita Harris, Anna Lilly and Susie Reed.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sisters, Mary Kay Nabholz, Jenny Fox and Linda Jones; daughter in law, Vickie L. Ballengee; four grandchildren, Lynn Jacobs, Brian Smith, David Smith and Sydney Curtis Smith and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Restwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kenneth Parent officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
