Sharon Ann Bonds 33, of Fairlea died Thursday, June 1, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born May 21, 1973 at Ronceverte, she was the daughter of Carlos and Ona Imogene Plumley Bonds of Hilldale.Sharon was a graduate of Summers County High School and was a member of the 1989-1990 Lady Bobcats State Champion Basketball team. She had graduated from the Greenbrier Community College and was an employee of the Greenbrier Hotel at White Sulphur Springs and was a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church at Talcott. She had lived most of her life at Hilldale. Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Hazel Plumley and her paternal grandparents, Jess and Dorothy Bonds. Besides her parents, Sharon is survived by two sons, Stephen Ray Bonds and Austin Lee Gragg both of Fairlea; her fiancée, Capt. Mark Thompson of OK and his children, Morgan and Ethan; one sister, Karen Sue Tincher and husband Carey of Clayton; three brothers, Carlos Ray Bonds and wife Leslie of Frankfurt, Ernest Lee Bonds and wife Jennifer of Hilldale and Joseph Lloyd Bonds and wife Tammy of Hilldale; maternal grandmother, Thelma Plumley of Crab Orchard; thirteen nieces and nephews, Michael Ray, Natasha, Lashae, Brittany, Samantha, Rose, Cheyanne, Destiny, Christy, Amanda, Kylie, Larissa and Stephanie. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Rollynsburg Baptist Church with Pastors Jim Martin and Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday at the Funeral Parlors and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
